Snoopy and the Red Baron
Released in 1983, Snoopy and the Red Baron was developed by Tod Frye, famous for other iconic adaptations on the Atari 2600, such as Pac-Man. Published by Atari, Inc., the game brings classic character Snoopy, from the Peanuts gang, in an action-packed aerial adventure.
In the game, the player controls Snoopy flying in his iconic red doghouse, facing his long-time enemy: the dreaded Red Baron. The mission is to collect items such as balloons, food, and other objects while shooting at the enemy and avoiding being hit.
With side-scrolling shooter gameplay and focus on fast reflexes, Snoopy and the Red Baron mixes aerial combat action with cartoonish visuals, bringing lots of charisma to the Atari 2600 catalog.
