Fishing Derby
Released in 1980, Fishing Derby was developed by legendary David Crane, same creator of classics like Pitfall!. Considered one of the first fishing games for consoles, Fishing Derby brings a fun competition between two players (or against AI), where the goal is to catch fish as quickly as possible.
Each player controls a fisherman sitting on a pier, with different depths of fish swimming between them. Fish closer to the surface are worth fewer points, while those in the depths are worth more — but are harder to catch and drag to the top, all while a shark circles at the top, ready to steal your catch.
